A high mileage adventure
around the perimiter of Quebec's Gaspe`Peninsula. From sea
level to mountain tops, this trip offers extensive and spectacular
views of the ice choked Saint Lawrence River and Atlantic
Ocean.
We will be meeting Sunday
evening at the Hotel Universal in Riviere`-du-Loup for dinner
and to discuss our upcoming events. There is a pool, hot tub,
sauna and health spa... so bring a swimsuit!
We will depart Monday
morning at 8 A.M. Riding East along the the South shore of
the Saint Lawrence River for two and a half days viewing farms,
fishing villages and skirting one of the worlds largest windmill
parks.
The fourth night we
will lodge in the town of Perce`, home of the scenic wonder
"The Rock". For the early risers there is the spectacle
of the sun rising over the frozen Atlantic. The fourth day
of riding will be the easiest, traveling west along the Gulf
of Saint Laurent. By Friday
afternoon we will cross the Interior, staying in Amqui Friday
night. Saturday, we're on to Riviere' re-du-Loup.
