Experience a fun filled
sledding vacation focused around beautiful Lac Saint Jean.
After the first day,this trip is set for a liesurely pace
and early arrivals, however those who wish to ride more aggressively
will be accomodated. This trip mimics the fur traders route
but is modified to include more attractions, remote trails
and lodging in a five star hotel and casino (Click here: Quebec

A quick overview of the trip:
The group will meet on the outskirts of Quebec City Sunday
evening, heading out 8 A.M. Monday morning for our longest
riding day. Included is a visit to the famous Ice Hotel (click
here: Ice
Hotel Quebec-Canada) for a tour, we will then head
North, lodging that night in L`E'tape. Tuesday
we will stay in Saquenay and there is plenty of night life
there for those who would like to sample it. The next two
days will be spent traveling around Lac Saint Jean, staying
in the Mont Vallon reigon. Options for evening activities
here include skiing and snowboarding. We will spend Thursday
riding on the North side of the river Saquenay and in the
mountains with a side trip to a lake with a large frozen waterfall
then break for lunch at the snowmobile relay a local snowmobile
clubhouse then on to Tadoussac. Friday
is our easiest riding day at 70 miles, starting with a ferry
ride across the River saquenay then on to Fairmont Le Manior
Richelieu a truly luxurious five star hotel and casino. There
will be plenty of time to enjoy the amenities of the hotel
while those who are interested have the option of additional
guided sled miles. Saturday
is an easy 156 mile ride back to Lac beauport via a 300' suspension
bridge.
