Whether or not you are a fan of the hit HBO show, the Deadwood area has plenty to offer. Set in the beautiful black hills of South Dakota at an elevation of 4,533 feet, the Black Hills offer over 300 miles of groomed trails and pristine meadows that we will experience during your stay.

Also featured is gaming, wild west history, unique scenic beauty and the world famous Mount Rushmore.

In the evenings you can take your pick from the over 80 gaming halls in this wonderfully historic and scenic town. Including Saloon #10 where the famous gunman wild Bill Handcock was shot in the back while playing poker. We will be staying at the Deadwood Gulch Resort, featuring 24 hour gaming and award winning facilities. We will meet Saturday evening for dinner then ride 9 to 5 Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. On Tuesday there will be an optional side trip to mount Rushmore. A van will be provided by 5 Star which is included in the price of the trip.

NOTE: This is not a backpacking tour; we will return every evening to the same hotel so no trailer escort is necessary.
